Using the iSED® technology trusted by thousands of labs worldwide, iSED® PRO brings the same novel approach to ESR by directly measuring RBC aggregation during rouleaux formation. Measuring an earlier part of the sedimentation process allows for greater sample stability (up to 28 hours at room temperature), vastly improving ESR sample logistics when collection sites are long distances from testing locations.

Capped primary EDTA tubes are loaded onto the analyzer via racks, the analyzer determines which samples need an ESR test, and then sample mixing, aspiration, and reading is performed by iSED® PRO for true walkway automation. With automatic self-cleaning and no per-test disposables required, iSED PRO has truly modernized ESR testing.
